2015 - Anatolian Eagle Exercise, Konya/Turkey

Finally, I was able to visit this exercise for my first time, again with the well known Dutch outfit! This is the Turkish equivalent to the Red Flag exercise in the US in state of the art facilities with a vast unrestricted airspace. Shark-mouthed F-4s, swarms of F-16s, a sprinkle of British Eurofighters, American F-15s and Pakistani F-16s, mass-starts by the dozens - sensory overload!
Additionally, the press officer did everything to provide the best photo-opportunities possible. Thanks to every member of the Turkish airforce involved - your effort and enthusiasm is highly appreciated!
