2014 - Akeno/Japan

Another trip with the well known Dutch outfit brought me to Japan where I meet another great guy I would travel later with again. Rory, you know who you are!
Akeno is the main helicopter base of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces. While I am not very much into helicopters it was impressive to watch all types of helicopters buzzing around non-stop.
