The Pima Museum has not only a most impressive aircraft collection but is also starting point for a tour to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), also known as "the boneyard". "Boneyard", however, is misleading as the aircraft stored at the AMARG are not there to rot, but rather for preservation, recycling of aircraft parts and components and even storage of manufacturing tools for the B-1 and B-2 bombers.
