Airpower, Zeltweg/Austria 2011

Hosted by the Austrian Armed Forces and massively sponsored by Red Bull (yes, the very energy drink!) the Airpower airshow is without the doubt the most spotter-friendly airshow I have ever attended. To make this clear: I certainly appreciate the effort of every organisator of an airshow or a spotters-day who does his (or her) best to support aviation enthusiasts.

The organisators of the Airpower, however, go that extra-step further: secluded spotter areas at various spots all over the airfield, motorized transport, internet access, catering ...
